I started training casually in hopes to increase my strength and energy level and got hooked right away. Then as I watched others compete, I decided to commit to a show. Now I’ve been bitten by the bug and I eat, sleep, and dream training. <3
Tell us a little about your training philosophy:
I am lead by my amazing coach Kevin Roy – Natural Bodybuilder, and follow a weight training/HIIT program six days a week. Working hard to make gains while staying lean!
Tell us a little bit about your diet philosophy:
I enjoy the benefits of a flexible diet guided by my coach. Nothing beats being able to eat a variety of great food while still achieving your goals!
Please tell us about your competitive history and placings (if applicable):
I competed in my first show, the GNC Sudbury Classic Championships, on the 23May15. I placed 10/13 in Bikini C class.
How many years have you competed (if applicable)?

Tell us about some of your short and long term goals:
I have countless goals when it comes to fitness. I`m always looking to beat my PRs and love to push myself. I also want to get into indoor bouldering and conquer Tough Mudder! I aim to bring a solid package to my next competition in hopes of placing and ultimately moving up.
Who do you look to for motivation and why?
I have been privileged to meet so many amazing and inspirational people through competing and training. I look to them for motivation as well as my coach, as he is ever-positive and encouraging. But ultimately, I look within myself, as I believe we are all our own best motivation, and after all, your journey is your own!
What are some of the most difficult obstacles that you have had to overcome?
The most difficult obstacle I have had to overcome is a lacking in self-confidence. I’ve always had an intense stage fright, and competing confronted it head on! I can say now I feel like I’ve conquered my fears and embraced showing off the hard work I put into my physique.

Tell us some of your pet peeves surrounding healthy life and the gym
Your biggest obstacle in any chasing any personal goal is your mind. Self-doubt is a dream killer. You have to actively work to maintain a positive attitude and build confidence and belief in yourself. You will have rough days and setbacks, but you need to get comfortable with failure; it’s part of the process! I recommend reading to train your mind as much as you train your body. You can’t have one without the other!
