What Motivated You To Begin Training?
I got tired of being a sluggish, overweight girl with no energy and no motivation. I knew it was time to change and that’s when I began to fall in love with the gym.
Tell us a little about your training philosophy:
I like to incorporate a little bit of everything and always try to improve. There is nothing more exciting and nothing that makes me hungrier for more than seeing those improvements. Last week I hit a dead lift PR of 255 and I am SO hungry to get to 300.
Tell us a little bit about your diet philosophy:
Throughout my transformation process, there were times when I was so restrictive about everything, but through it all, I’ve come to appreciate”moderation.” I still eat clean, but won’t beat myself up if I want to have a piece of pizza every once in a while.
What is the number one piece of advice that you would give someone that looks to you for inspiration?
Just don’t give up. It’s hard, you need to have the motivation and dedication, but once it’s there, you’ll never turn back. And just wait until you start seeing results.. That’s when you REALLY up your game. I started off at about 230 pounds, was 135 at my lowest and now with my gains I’m at 155.It’s amazing seeing those changes.
