What Motivated You To Begin Training?
Self esteem, wanting to better myself physically and mentally
Tell us a little about your training philosophy:
I’m following a 12 week butt builder I got online while doing my own leg/glute excerises; legs and glutes, Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Tuesday is arms and shoulders, Thursday is back and Saturday is cardio, abs and sometimes upper back. I try and do at least one day of some cardio.
Tell us a little bit about your diet philosophy:
Eat healthy most part. Pastas , chicken, smoothie in the morning with my protein. Lots of fruit.
Tell us about some of your short and long term goals:
Want to become for toned, build muscle, get in the best shape I can be. Maybe compete in the future.
Who do you look to for motivation and why?
I don’t necessarily look at anybody to motivate me. I look on instagram, but however I look at myself for motivation. Ive been through some hard times and I know even if times get tough or might get stressful the gym or at least fitness is there. Even when I’m having the worst day, being at the gym motivates me to move forward and don’t hold back.

What are some of the most difficult obstacles that you have had to overcome?
One of the toughest obstacles I have been to overcome and still am is having Graves disease. (Hyperthyroidism) it’s hard sometimes not to want to give up when you see no progress and nothing to show for it while you’re doing everything you can to gain weight and keep it on. People tell you ,you should eat but I eat more than most people surprisingly. Overcoming this , won’t be easy and hasn’t been but now I’m on pills and am starting to get it under control. I’m gaining weight, gaining muscle and keeping it on finally even if it’s not much, from me being at 108 my lowest to 125-130 now. I’m happy
Tell us some of your pet peeves surrounding healthy life and the gym:
Eating healthy food all the time , when you don’t have time to make it or eat it. You won’t gain however many pounds if you have a cheat meal here and there. Salad isn’t the only healthy thing. Also bothers me when people compare to others, everybody is different and sees different; what you might see in the mirror somebody would love to have.
What is the number one piece of advice that you would give someone that looks to you for inspiration?
Never give up. Yes some days it’s going to feel hopeless and everything feel pointless but it’s not. You being at the gym makes you that much closer to your overall goals and dreams. Doing that extra few reps will add up. Love your progress and you’ll get addicted seeing the results
